This one I thought I would share. Many years ago a cattle rancher in the area invited a man to go see what was at the time the best kept secret of ruins, not only because of its remote location but it looks as though it was abandoned yesterday. The cattle rancher was quite protective of the location until shortly after he had shared the site. After which he decided to turn it over to the state and I believe it was U of U who went to the site to document it. The man he shared the site with not long after shared it with his nephew Alan Lowe.
The following pictures are among the first photos of the site before the state turned it into a tourist site... I hope it still looks this good... Notice the fresh look of the pine rafters, and the finger prints in the adobe!
Photos compliments of Alan Lowe
