Ain’t no such thing as A One Sided Coin

The following is an exposition of various parts of the book Written by Del Schrader in 1975, Jesse James was One of His Names. Some time ago I was sent a copy of this book, at the time I was somewhat familiar with the claims made in the book and really had no opinion. It wasn’t until a friend of mine found some very implicating carvings in Central Utah of all places, of which we have no doubt was left by Jesse James himself. What was Jesse James doing in Utah? I had heard much about the Confederate underground often referred to as KGC, but a majority of my research focus was pertaining to the indigenous of this land and their origins. However knowing I am a sucker for a mystery to solve, a friend sent me the book written by Del Schrader to review. As I began reading the book my skepticism was in high gear, the claims being made in the book wasn’t helping matters, until I decided to take each as I went through the book, and try to prove or disprove, I had no idea what was to follow, all I can say at this point is that in 1975, without internet capabilities, there is no way this man Del Schrader could have been so accurate, or lucky if you will, on so many points, unless… the things in the book are for at least the most part  true…

No matter how hard I have looked over the many years, regardless of the countless coins that have been minted and passed through my hands, there is a principle liken unto the principles of the very tales of history, and that is, never have I found a coin with only one side.

Some say, that every story has two sides, like this is some great wisdom, but then it is followed up with, the truth lies somewhere in the middle, and this in and of itself may be somewhat true, but likened to two children facing dad to answer for some wrong deed, and are made to fess up to the question of, “What Happened” whose truth will prevail?

When it comes to History one only need consider, who wrote the history and was there a motive at the time, and was it for future purpose? Who was the Victor in this war? Who do you think is going to tell THEIR truth? When it comes to history… I am leery, and often looking at the other side of the coin, it might be blank, badly worn or not well pronounced, but it is a side. If only there was a way to present cutting the baby in half to expose the truth, but if one looks closely, they will see that there is a way… whenever a lie is confronted with truth, the lie will always lash out at the truth.

Photo discovered in 1940’s in a cabin near Bottomless Lake in New Mexico
Jesse on the left, Frank on the right, with their mother Mollie Dalton (NOT Zerelda)
I wonder what this photo was doing in New Mexico?

With that said, Jesse James, his brother Frank and those of Quantrill’s Raiders, and the purpose and motive of the southern states in the Civil War is grossly misunderstood, misrepresented and perhaps one of the biggest cover-ups this nation has ever seen and yet still…  a blind eye is kept towards… MANY outrages took place on both sides of the coin, atrocities against the African Slaves by some in the south, but heaven forbid, let’s not talk about those done in the north, and especially those done by the black slave owners… Let’s not talk about the methods by which the African people were kidnapped by their own people, and sold on their own shores to the Europeans.

It is taught… no dictated… that the Confederacy represented slavery… It is dictated that the north were anti slavery… and in the nicest way I can’t muster… Bull Shit! Keep in mind, my only motive for making such statements is to show those who have an open mind, and feel in their gut, that something just isn’t right, that they may more clearly understand who Jesse was, and what he, his men and the south were up against. Lincoln himself who a majority hail as the greatest president, stuck his foot in his mouth several times over, he was the first president to commit treason against the FREE Republic.

The other side of the coin, the North, following without thought or question the orthodox belief, had no idea and still do not, that they were helping the very foreign powers that  we booted out of here in 1776, Bankers of England, providing them aid to infiltrate our money system, and implement the building blocks of instituting the worst kind of slavery, one without shackles and chains, but with Bondage and Captivity, being brought once again in servitude to the King, or should I say, the puppet of the Bankers. Isn't that what the Revolutionary War was about? Let’s make this easy, take the word Federal which the people have come to accept as if it were almost of holy decent… and replace it with the word Foreign in all that you know and say, and this will just about sum it up.

Jesse, Quantrill and his Raiders and Jesse’s gang of men have gone down in history as a ruthless murderous enemy of the state, YET his BEST and most trustworthy friend, John Trammell, body guard and companion through all of it until they actually died, was a former slave who ran away as a result of being beaten by his master, an act Jesse would have killed the master for, had he witnessed it. John Trammell formerly Sam Skates, born in a primitive cabin on the Porter Plantation in Oglethorpe County, Georgia, between Atlanta and Augusta was in every way as an incredible man as Jesse himself. Jesse’s most faithful followers and supporters were the Native American Indians, Mexican and the Africans, slave or not, in which he encountered.

DOES IT MAKE SENSE that the southerners were willing to watch their plantations burned to the ground, their women and children violated and burned alive boarded up in their churches or houses, all because they refused to give up their slaves? This is propaganda and  ridiculous.

I will quit here as a majority really doesn’t want to know as they are comfortable in what they were taught as the orthodox way. But those of you who do know and really want the truth, will investigate further the implications I have made, however my purpose for the forgoing is to help the reader consider and hopefully understand what Jesse, Frank, Quantrill’s Raiders and the noble men of the south who fought to keep America FREE of financial oppression, were really up against, unfortunately the south lost their cause, and today we are nothing but chattel in bondage and captivity, as a result of the war between the states, the Free Republic established by the founding Fathers, was “utterly overthrown and wasted

My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that. What I do about slavery, and the colored race, I do because I believe it helps to save the Union; and what I forbear, I forbear because I do not believe it would help to save the Union. I shall do less whenever I shall believe what I am doing hurts the cause, and I shall do more whenever I shall believe doing more will help the cause." (Abraham Lincoln)
"In Saving the Union, I have destroyed the Republic, before me have I the Confederacy which I loathe, but behind me have I the bankers which I fear" (Abraham Lincoln) (Denied by Academics)
"The high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the freedoms of America and before I leave office, I must inform the Citizen of his plight." -- John F. Kennedy (D) speaking at Columbia University, 10 days before his assassination. (Strongly Denied by Academics) (Lash away, and tell it to those who were there)

FOURTEEN MONROE (LA.) NEWS-STAR NOVEMBER 25, 1954 Ex-Slave, 117, Once Fighter And Gangster DENVER, Colo., Nov. 23 (Special)—John Trammell, 117-year-old ex-slave from Guthrie, Okla., is now undergoing examination at Spears Chiropractic Sanitarium and Hospital here, in connection with the longevity research study being conducted by the Institution. Spears researchers are especially interested in Trammell His has been a life of violence, hardship and poverty — a combination usually associated with brief life spans Trammell, however, survived the Impact of a speeding automobile in 194?, suffering only a broken leg, which healed. This shock, say experts, was sufficient to have killed an average man 50 years Trammell's junior. Prior to the Civil War, Trammel was a bare-knuckle pugilist who fought other slaves at command of his master. Training for these events, he developed a magnificent physique. When freed in 1863 at the age of 25 he joined the Jesse James outlaws and was wounded several times. Since 1882, when the James outfit dissolved, he worked as a laborer and did individual farming. He now raises turkeys and chickens near Guthrie, Though Trammell Is the oldest of four subjects thus far examined, Spears researchers believe there are many older persons to be found in the U. S. and abroad.
This same article even showed up in the American Fork Citizen, Dec 9th 1954, pg. 7

Harrison Trow

One of the most mysterious characters in the Jesse saga was the very man whom was credited as positively identifying the dead body of Jesse on April 5th of 1882 in St. Joseph Missouri, Captain Harrison Trow. As history tells it, Harrison Trow was assigned by Governor of Missouri Thomas Theodore Crittenden. According to other history he road with Quantrill’s Raiders, Even Dalton’s book (by Del Schrader) tells a tale of Harrison Trow, which also identify him as the man who stepped in almost as if he just happened to be in the area and said he was sent by the Governor, none of the history writers have ever explained how he just happened to be in the area, and got there so quickly. But what Dalton's book says is that after Jesse shot Charlie Bigelow, that Jesse then changed his appearance and returned to the crime scene as Captain Harrison Trow. IF this were true, it would be the one thing that turns the coin over, gives it definition, throw your loop away, the final nail is firmly set in Charlies Coffin.

Captain Harrison Trow at a Quantrill reunion pre 1900
But wait… This man looks strangely familiar…

I decided to investigate this Captain Harrison Trow just a little closer, like many of the other alias’s Jesse used, I find that some of them were created out of thin air, I say this because you find no record of a birth, no census reports prior to the date in question, nothing showing parents, siblings etc… all the information that is found seems to come from nowhere appearing at the time of the very claim. Surely there would be photos of a man who served Governor Crittenden, the man who went down in history as the man who positively identified the body of the notorious and legendary Jesse James?

Digging a little deeper I find a young energetic female who lived in Blue Springs Missouri, not far from where Jesse not only lived but where he was supposedly killed.

Ana Lee Stacy of Blue Springs Missouri

Let me introduce you to Anna Lee Stacey (Dillenbeck) (Day), a very talented little girl as she love to draw and for the most part was a self-accomplished and a well recognized artist of the day. Born in Glasgow Mo. In the year 1864. 18 years later she is living in Blue Springs about 16 miles east of Kansas City.

Anna Lee (Dillenbeck) Stacey (Artist)

There is some obscurity and mystery as to who she was exactly. Anna Lee seemed to have a fascination of doing portraits of those who served under William Clarke Quantrill (Actual Name, Col. Elbert DeWitt Travis), including Quantrill himself, a Confederate leader of what was known as “Quantrill’s Raider’s” best known for their Guerrilla warfare tactics. I just can’t find how she fits in, possibly one of the many involved sisters, or perhaps wife to one of the many she did charcoal drawing of… Anna Lee has done portraits of Jim, Bob, and Thomas Coleman (Cole) Younger, she has done several of Frank and Jesse, and several other Confederate soldiers, even Charlie Bigelow death photo labeled as Jesse and she has done one portrait of Harrison Trow which we will come back to, who is the man who  has gone down in history as the man who identified the body of Jesse James, who worked under Governor Thomas Crittenden of Missouri said to be Jesse’s school mate and accomplish in staging his own death in 1882. Regardless of who Anna Lee was her fascination or connections has preserved some very interesting implications.

Below are some of the charcoal drawing Anna Lee had done sometime after Jesse’s so called killing, a couple of them are by Elmer Stewart, it is believed she/they reproduced the images from actual photos, such a photo is compared to the charcoal drawing below of William Clarke Quantrill, whose actual name is Elbert DeWitt Travis.

William Clarke Quantrill

Other Anna Lee Stacey drawings with known photos of Jesse and Frank

Alexander FRANK James, let it sink in people… this is NOT Jesse

Jesse Woodsen James, NOT Robert, NOT “Dingus

Now lets look at a charcoal drawing done by Anna Lee, of Harrison Trow at the time or very near the time he identified the body of Jesse, unfortunately we do not have the actual photo in which it was done from, it is possible it was done live. Below is a comparison of the only known photo of Harrison Trow with the much younger Trow, done by Anna Lee Stacey with Charcoal.

Do you see it yet? Now I’m not a forensic photo specialist but I feel I have a pretty good eye. And I would have no doubt the two men in the above photo are without a doubt the same man but obviously years apart. Now in Dalton’s book he explains how Jesse after shooting Charlie Bigelow, changed his appearance and arrived on the scene not long after and took control of the situation presenting himself AS, Captain Harrison Trow, now take a good look at the following photo comparisons.

Harrison Trow on the left,
J. Frank Dalton on the right, the man who claimed to be Jesse Woodsen James

However the photo which about knocked my socks off and made me realize, the Book written by Del Schrader, Jesse James was one of his Names, DEFINITELY deserves a much closer look…

Wow…

Now earlier I asked what was Jesse doing in the area of Bottomless Lake in New Mexico? Well according to Dalton’s book, it is said that Jesse had considerable property in New Mexico not to mention Dalton’s purported Grandson Orvis Lee Howk is quoted saying that Jesse said He owned a dozen ranches scattered from Texas north through Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada and Oregon.

Howk says the treasure symbols appear to be everywhere. "I've observed them in Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, Minnesota, the Dakotas, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Idaho, Washington and even Florida." It is also stated in the book that Jesse kept the Pigeon Ranch at Glorietta pass New Mexico in the early 1900s and it eventually ended up in the hands of the Greer family. I have found the later part to be true but the name in which the Greer’s got the property from is highly suspect of another alias of Jess’s. Walter M. Taber, or William B. Taber, suspect of being the James Brothers. None to my surprise, like the Clarke Brothers of Montana which we will talk about later, they were the proprietors of the Glorieta Mercantile and Livestock Co. Also no big surprise, I cannot find the parents of William B. Taber or Walter M. Taber.

Just over the boarder and a bit south from Glorietta, is Hereford Texas in Deaf Smith county where at the same time and a little over 150 Miles S/W from where the photo above with Jesse, Frank and Mollie was found, Harrison Trow is on record as to owning some 8000 plus acres. And having died in Hereford Texas, no big secret but… what are the astronomical chances that Harrison and Jesse look near identical, almost as if they were the same person…

According to Dalton’s book, Jesse killed off his other primary alias just 6 days after Harrison Trow’s purported death, William A. Clark.

It is possible the above image of William A. Clark is one of his doubles, Carl O' Clark

Who wants to be a treasure finder?

As early as 1529 Spanish mining expeditions were transporting the spoils of mining throughout the west to the many ports in the south. As early as the 1600's many of the Indigenous had organized preparing for a time where in the people of the west and those of the south would rise up against their oppressor, and vanquish them from their county, it would be another 300 years before this would happen however the oppressor just changed their uniform.

Many of the indigenous had organized throughout the west, both north and south the object was to lay assault whenever possible to the many mule trains, this to cut off support of funding hoping to rid their country of these intruders once and for all. The average mule train which passed through the mountains was 50 to 100 mules, one of the largest having been 480 mules loaded, with 400 mules carrying silver and 80 mules carrying gold. This assault took place in the early 1800’s and was quickly cached at their nearby designated depository. Assaults such as these had been taking place for near 300 years, some of the chache locations being natural caverns of which they vowed to fill with gold and other with silver not realizing that one day it would actually happen.

One such depository and stronghold of over 100 years, acquiring much wealth as a result of the robberies of many mule trains which passed by on the way to the port, sets high in the mountains and had all but become a forgotten myth until a “noted historian” in 1912 happened to be in the right place at the right time. While doing some local research he was approached by an individual who had a very old document written by one of the many captains of the organized bands of patriots by the name of Juan Lauriano who with his brother Antonio and their merry band, conducted many assaults on the Spanish shipments contributing to their depository.

One of the primary maps of a stronghold and depository drawn 1814
(pertinent details removed)

The document was discovered near one of the busiest ports of the day, in the day which it was written. The document was discovered by an old Mexican woman digging in her garden, the document was sealed inside a wooden iron bound chest. As per the document it was written the 13th day of May 1818 and hidden in the ground, and would be discovered less than 100 years later. The document speaks of a trail of treasures each with explicit instructions as to how to find, giving a starting location which was not easy to find. The trail of treasure was leading to the stronghold and depository used for so many years.

In 1805 a feeble attempt to find the stronghold with its booty was conducted by Viceroy Don Jose de lturrigaray, confident he knew the location of the Bandits stronghold, he set out for the mountains with 200 mules and an undetermined number of men, and searched for months to no avail. Ironically he and his men camped at the stronghold for 2 or 3 days using it as an outpost and never knowing it was the bandit’s stronghold and location of the depository.

José de Iturrigaray, Viceroy of New Spain (1803-08)

The last attempt by the Spanish army to find the stronghold, the depository and the assailants, was given to General Miguel Jose de Azanza just prior to being named Vicroy of New Spain. After capturing the Lauriano brothers and execution carried out, attempts to find the lost booty as a result of 100 years of assaults came to an end.

In 1918 a woman from Spain showed up in Mexico carrying documents pertaining to the strong hold, she took the information to President Carranza, Carranza impressed with the documents dispatch investigators to the area to gather all possible information pertain to the site, however no sooner than they had arrived they were forced to leave as a result of Obregon’s revolution in 1919, Carranza was killed not long after and the whole thing came to an end, Until, the noted historian was in the area and the redoterro discovered by the old woman, fell into his hands.

Carranza                                                      Obregon

The noted historian suddenly turned treasure hunter, spent near 6 month looking for the treasure at the end of the trail of treasures. In his notes he mentions some of the smaller caches had been found, but not the stronghold, he does not say whether it was he or another who had found the smaller caches, After months of searching, never knowing just how close he was, he aborted his first expedition when the area was invaded by the army of Emiliano Zapata. Bogged down by his livelihood taking assignment after assignment and years later tried to put together funding to make a second trip, but it just didn’t happen.

The army of Emiliano Zapata

To my knowledge no other has gone looking for the depository, other than an occasional independent who always left without success according to the land owner. Now the information concerning this site rests in my hands and my colleague and friend in Mexico.

Wanted: Financial and Working partner in the search and documentation of Antiquities, Exploration, and Resolution of ancient sites.

Most of the projects we have investigated in over the years and discovered the locations are waiting for technology, the forgoing story is one of 5 projects where in we have exact instructions and location. Funding is all we await. I don’t care how the funding comes or who wishes to participate as long as true integrity is a personal quality, whether one individual or several, I can’t promise success but I can promise should one site not find success, we simply move to the next viable project and there are many (76 Last count) from Northern Utah to Central America, from great prominence to nothing more than first hand story or a location identified by the signs found at the site. In the case of the previous featured synopsis story, I only seek 10% and the land owner by local law is entitled to 50%, the estimated total haul is over 1 billion, this does not include possible Aztec artifacts that are suspect of being among the hoard, of which WILL be preserved and left in the care of my colleague to see that it is placed in a museum for display.
