Going through my files looking for re-construction projects I find these semi old photos and realize, I need to return to the site and hopefully it is in the condition I last saw it in 2003. My objective is to digitally eliminate the bleeding of the paint that has occurred over hundreds of years, for the purpose of a clear image for study.
The sixth photo below is the unfinished results of digitally cleaning of the photo for clarity, but not so much as to loose the affect of antiquity.
These photos would suffice for my purposes but I am thinking I want to return for up to date photos. This is a remarkable site, a must see for any Glyph enthusiast...
