Some years ago a friend of mine was walking down a wash in Northern Arizona hunting rabbits when his eye caught something unusual, a seeming pile of small bones... at first he thought it was just some small animal remains, but on closer examination he discovered they all had holes in them, It appeared to him that they had fallen out of the side of the wash. sure enough, a few more were sticking out of the wall, he plucked out the remaining but was very hesitant to dig into the wall for fear of finding the neck they may have been around...
My friend showed me the little bones and let me photograph them a few years ago. Just thought I would share... In time soon I hope to take an Archy to the site which is private property...
