I was invited to go to this site many years ago with a new found friend, I'd bet you can't guess who it was by the picture ;-) I had seen a couple of pictures prior to going but I had no idea, my reasons for posting this site here today is not to discover the age of the glyphs, who might have made them or otherwise, it is only placed here to share and show you some of the strange and unusual places you may encounter. My friend and I are skeptics by nature and we are not so quick to decide just because we had no idea or that it just doesn't fit that a must be a modern creation, and of this site, I think I have heard it all...
We do know the site itself is not modern and that there are at least two different time frames in which writings have been left, one possibly modern. There is a hypothesis as to why they are where they are but this is just that... a hypothesis and It is not mine to tell, I have my own thoughts as to where it all came from and who might be responsible but that to will have to wait.
The property is now under the control of the southern Ute, and requires special permission to visit.
If there is questions I can answer, feel free to ask, but there is still to this day after so many years, tight reigns on this one. We have learned enough about the site to known it is an authentic site, however the reasons it exists and who may be responsible,,, although evidence weighs in favor of one... is still up in the air...
