Long-time treasure enthusiast and collector of treasure hunting, mining and metal detecting materials. My goal is to use my collection to help others by making difficult to find material available to a modern audience. In invite correspondence with other collectors and hope to continue expanding my library for the benefit of other treasure hunting enthusiasts. I am also deeply interested in newspaper archives and bringing back to life the works of regional authors who have contributed much to the treasure hunting community in numerous far-flung corners of the written world through newspapers, magazines and newsletters.

Since its initial publication 60 years ago in Karl von Mueller’s Treasure Hunter’s Manual Volume 7, the LUE map has been a source of controversy and fascination. A cryptic puzzle that promises to “perplex treasure hunters for years to come.” Treasure hunters for decades have sought to decypher the cryptic LUE code and the riches related to it.
For the first time, the most thorough and complete collection of clippings, articles and essays on the LUE is presented. A chronological offering of clues, criticisms, and analysis reads like a who’s who of treasure hunting personalities. Karl von Mueller, Michael Paul Henson, Roy Roush, Thomas Penfield, Johnny Pounds, Paul Tainter, John Latham and many more lend their thoughts and critiques of the mysterious LUE.
A literal time capsule of data, that has been painstakingly researched, assembled, and presented for the reader to explore, learn, and draw their own conclusion. Is the LUE the key to vast fortune or an unfortunate hoax? You decide.
