My Granddaughter, who is 13 years of age, is a student of Duchesne County School system, and the Academic class of Family and Consumer Sciences or Family, Career and Community Leaders of AMERICA (FCCLA).  She has recently given her presentation on “Adoption” at a state function representing her school, at the Davis Conference Center in March and earned her place in representing the state of Utah at the National Convention in San Diego in JUNE.  She is the only one representing in her classification. Unfortunately the cost of attending and the opportunity to represent Utah is upon the student and her family.

I am presenting this here to urge you to help us by way of donation to help send her to the National Finals as a representative of the State of Utah in her class. This 13 year old is expected to raise an estimated $3-$4,000 for travel, accommodation, ect… Today she is at a city Rodeo having a bake sale to raise money, she is no slacker! A very independent and responsible child. We are very pleased with this young lady.
